Amber and Shane's snowy winter wedding at the Silcox Hut on Mt Hood

I first met Amber and Shane a couple of years ago when they were searching for an adventurous wedding photographer to capture their winter wedding at the Silcox Hut on Oregon’s Mt. Hood. Perched at 7000 feet elevation above Timberline Lodge, and only accessible via Snow Cat, their venue is one of my favorites to work at and I was so excited to be chosen for the job!

Vendors:

Wedding Photographer: Studio 623 Photography

Venue: Timberline Lodge Weddings

Wedding Officiant: EC Matrimony, Ernie Claeson

We met up a few months back for an engagement session in the snow on Mt Hood and were so much fun to work with… which made me so excited to capture their wedding day! The day of Shane and Amber’s wedding was absolutely beautiful and perfect. The skies were clear and blue, it wasn’t too cold, and likely because it was also Superbowl Sunday, the normally crowded Timberline Lodge was fairly deserted. We met in the lobby of the main lodge before heading up to the Silcox in the snow cat for photos and pre-ceremony decorating.

I had such a fabulous time photographing this beautiful, intimate wedding and wish these two a lifetime of happiness! If you are looking for a wedding photographer I would love to be considered! You can find more information in this section of my website and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for stopping by!
