When should I book a newborn photographer?

The best time to book your newborn photographer is during your second or third trimester to secure your spot. Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled within 5-14 days after birth, when your baby is still super sleepy and naturally curls into those adorable poses. Studio 623 Photography works with your schedule to make timing seamless.

What should I expect during a newborn photography session?

Expect a relaxed, unhurried vibe at our Sandy, Oregon studio. Newborn sessions last 1-2 hours, depending on your baby's mood, and include poses with family or siblings if you'd like. We provide all props, wraps, and backdrops. Your comfort is our priority—just sit back while we create beautiful, timeless images of your newborn.

How do I prepare for a newborn photoshoot?

Feed your baby about 30 minutes before arriving to keep them content and sleepy. Dress in simple, neutral outfits—we have wraps and hats if needed. Pack diapers, a pacifier, and any sentimental items you'd like included. Studio 623 Photography handles the rest, ensuring a joyful, hassle-free session.

Fall Mini Sessions are typically 20 mins and clients are provided with a minimum of 20 edited digital images and a print release. These are great for groups of around 4; if you have a larger group or would like a bit more time, I recommend choosing a full family session or booking 2 back to back time slots.
