Sandy & Mt. Hood Wedding Photographer serving Oregon & the Pacific Northwest
20 Years. 400+ Weddings. Still Obsessed With Getting Your Shot.
Wedding packages from $1,499 elopements to full-day coverage
If you're searching for a wedding photographer in Sandy, Mt. Hood, or anywhere across the Pacific Northwest, you've found someone who has spent the last 20 years doing exactly that and still loves every single day of it. Since photographing my first wedding in 2005, I've documented over 400 unique celebrations, from intimate backyard ceremonies in Estacada to grand receptions along the Columbia River Gorge, and everything in between. That experience means I know when to step in and capture the moment and when to disappear into the background and let your day unfold naturally. My style is candid and documentary at its core, with a creative eye always hunting for dramatic light, sweeping Oregon landscapes, and the quiet in-between moments that make your story yours. Couples tell me I'm calm, organized, and genuinely fun to work with and I've built a full team of photographers, videographers, and editors who operate in the same way. We want every part of your wedding experience to feel intentional, personal, and beautifully executed. Many of my clients come back year after year for family photos, and nothing makes me happier than hearing they've sat down with their kids to flip through their wedding album together. That's the kind of work I'm here to create for you.
Ready to talk about your day? Tell me a little about your vision and I'll be in touch within 24 hours.

FAQ’s
Booking & Availability
How far in advance should I book my wedding photographer? Most couples in the Sandy and Mt. Hood area book 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak season dates (May–October). If your date is sooner, reach out anyway, we occasionally have openings and always recommend checking.
How do I officially reserve my wedding date? A signed contract and a minimum 50% retainer hold your date. Until both are received, the date remains available to other couples.
Do you travel outside of Sandy and Mt. Hood? Absolutely. We regularly photograph weddings throughout Portland, the Columbia River Gorge, Hood River, Bend, the Oregon Coast, and beyond. Travel fees may apply for locations outside 60 minutes from Sandy.
The Photography Experience
Will you be the photographer at my wedding, or will you send someone else? Becky personally photographs the majority of weddings booked through Studio 623. For larger weddings or when an alternate lead photographer is included in your package, our vetted team members who shoot in the same candid, documentary style may join or lead alongside her. You'll always know who is coming before your wedding day.
How do you handle difficult lighting — like dark reception halls or harsh midday sun? This is where 20 years of experience really shows. We've shot in every lighting condition Oregon can throw at us, from snowstorms on Mt. Hood to candlelit barns in Estacada. We come prepared with professional lighting equipment and know how to use your venue's natural light to its full advantage.
Do you pose couples or let things happen naturally? Both happen intentionally. We guide you through a handful of relaxed prompts that create natural movement and genuine reactions rather than stiff, forced poses. The rest of the day we document as it happens. The result is a gallery that feels alive.
What if it rains on my wedding day? Oregon weather is part of the Pacific Northwest charm and honestly makes for some of the most dramatic, beautiful images. We have contingency plans for every scenario and have photographed stunning weddings in the rain, snow, and fog. Some of our favorite images have come from the "bad weather" days.
Galleries & Deliverables
How many photos will I receive? Elopement packages include a minimum of 200 fully edited images. Half-day packages deliver approximately 250, and full-day coverage delivers approximately 500. All images are high resolution with a full print release.
How long until I receive my wedding gallery? Most galleries are delivered within 6-8 weeks of your wedding date. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.
Are the photos edited? Can I request black and white images? Every image in your gallery is fully edited, color corrected, exposure balanced, and finished in our signature style. Black and white versions of all images are included at no extra charge, and you can request additional conversions.
Do you offer wedding albums? Yes! We offer professional heirloom albums as an add-on to any package. Albums are one of the most meaningful investments you can make. Your gallery lives on a hard drive, but an album lives on a coffee table and gets passed down.
Video
Do you offer wedding videography in addition to photography? Yes. Video can be added to any photography package, and we have a dedicated videography team to match. Having your photo and video covered by one cohesive team means a more seamless experience on your day and a consistent aesthetic across both.
What does a wedding film look like? You can watch examples of our wedding films on our YouTube channel — search Studio 623 Photography on YouTube to see real couples, real venues, and our full cinematic style before you inquire.
