Senior Photos | Carson | CHS Class of 2026
Here is another great young man who I have known since way before he was born! Besties since OUR senior year (omg), Carson’s parents and I were roommates in our late teens and early 20’s, were in each other’s weddings, lived 2 minutes from each other for a while, had matching dogs (our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels) and then we even started families at the exact same time, with Elicia and I having our firsts 1 week apart. Mom tip: Have a baby at the same time as your bestie. It’s super fun! We even did pre-natal water aerobics together.
Carson’s childhood wasn’t super easy, as he, along with is younger brother were both diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at a very young age. This hasn’t stopped Carson from growing into a thriving young man. He and Brandon are THE reason why I became involved with and have done so much charity work for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation over the years and I am here to say, that work has made a difference. This right here is the proof: watching Carson and Brandon grow up and live happy, healthy lives.
Side note: I have taken photos at this location dozens of times over the years and not once have I seen a duck swimming around by itself in the Sandy River, let alone a white “Oregon Duck” type duck but this one swam up as we started photos, literally quacked “hi” at us and then waddled out of the water to see what we were doing (and probably to see if we had snacks, which we did not). The Oregon Ducks blanket prop came out, Duck Friend stuck around just long enough for those shots and then swam back downstream. I promise I did not AI generate this creature. Sometimes I just get lucky with weather and things; the duck was extra cool!
