When I get an inquiry for a Skibowl wedding in my inbox, I literally squeal and then jump for joy, which is exactly what I did when Anne and Keenan emailed me. Skibowl has one of the most uniquely awesome wedding experiences in the Pacific Northwest. Located in Government Camp, on Oregon’s Mt. Hood, this wedding venue delivers a healthy dose of adventure along with it’s gorgeous view of Mt Hood, which is on the next ridge over. Guests arrive to the Historic Warming Hut after riding a chairlift and taking a short walk through the woods. The wedding takes place next to the warming hut after which guests can ride the Alpine Slide down to the reception area where the most delicious food is served (can I come every day and have the smoked salmon?
