Senior Photos with Horses | Estacada, Oregon

Class of 2026 Senior Photos are in full swing! When this senior’s mom contacted me about doing photos that incorporated her love for horseback riding, I was all in and knew of a perfect place. The equestrian trails and barn at McIver Park in Estacada are my go-to for seniors who want to bring their giant furry friends along. With wide open spaces, rustic textures and great lighting, this spot can’t be beat.

Just a side note for photographers: Yes there is a beautiful barn here (PS: it’s about a mile from where you park AND if you stay till sunset there are bears, cougars and I also saw a bobcat in the area, who may hunt you on the way back. Definitely pick up and carry small children). Additionally, this IS A DEDICATED equestrian trail… so if you are planning to do photoshoot at this spot 1) get a permit, and 2) please make sure you have an actual horse in attendance. Also make sure that you don’t do things that would annoy or potentially jeopardize safety for other riders (such as having loose dogs, balloons, anything flammable, screaming children etc etc).
