Wildflower Engagement Photos in the Columbia River Gorge | Maddie + Peyton

Wildflowers and golden light and these two — Maddie and Peyton brought the most relaxed, joyful energy to their Columbia River Gorge engagement session. The Gorge in wildflower season is nothing short of spectacular, and having a couple as naturally in love as these two made it even better.

The Columbia River Gorge is one of the most iconic wildflower engagement session locations in the Pacific Northwest. From the purple balsamroot and paintbrush blooms to sweeping views of the Columbia River, there is nowhere quite like it for photos that feel alive and in full color. Unfortunately, these blooms only last a few short weeks so the planets must literally align to make wildflower sessions happen. This day aligned perfectly (well… except for the rattlesnake that slithered across my client’s foot. I may actually never go back there again after that, so please enjoy these photos). Kidding… kinda. I might need some therapy after that.

Studio 623 Photography is a Sandy, Oregon-based engagement photographer serving the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood, Portland, and throughout the Pacific Northwest. If you’re dreaming of wildflower engagement photos, we would love to explore the Gorge with you.
