Newborn Photos | Sandy, Oregon Newborn Photographer
Newborn sessions just melt me. Tiny yawns, wrinkly toes, and that brand new baby smell that does not photograph but absolutely should. Here is a peek at some of my favorite recent newborn sessions in the Sandy, Oregon studio.
How do you photograph a newborn safely?
Newborn safety comes before every single photo. Babies are only posed in positions that are natural and comfortable for them, the studio stays warm and calm, and we pause for feeds and snuggles whenever baby asks. A patient session is a beautiful session, so we never rush a sleepy pose or a swaddle.
Should siblings and parents be in newborn photos?
Yes, and I always encourage it. A few frames with mom and dad, and with big brothers and sisters, turn a newborn gallery into a family heirloom. Babies grow, siblings soften, and those early photos together become more precious every single year.
How do you book a newborn session with Studio 623?
The easiest way to book is to reach out while you are still expecting, ideally in your second trimester, so we can hold a spot within the first two weeks of your due date. I am Becky Chambers, owner of Studio 623 Photography in Sandy, Oregon, and I have photographed brand new babies for more than 20 years.
